American Beauty Cruises & Charters

COVID-19 update

Updates to our operational changes due to the  Coronavirus pandemic are documented here.  We are making every effort to provide a safe experience for our customers and crew during this unprecedented time. Right now information is very dynamic and we are dependent on guidelines from safety experts, Governor Cuomo and local health authorities to help determine when we can start our boat rides in a safe and responsible manner. This page is to keep everyone informed of our operational changes and we welcome comments, ideas and suggestions.

Operational Changes

  • All passengers are required to wear a face mask. Captain Don and the crew will also be wearing face masks.
  • American Beauty II will be completely disinfected before every boat ride.
  • Passengers' temperature will be taken prior to boarding using a touchless forehead thermometer.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available both on the boat and at our ticket stand.
  • Adjustments to vessel capacity may be required to comply with social distancing guidelines (TBD)
  • We may also require contactless tickets sales. Either via the web or with a credit card that uses EMV chip technology.* (TBD)

* – We have upgraded our credit card reader for 2020 to a card chip reader and an EMV reader for proximity payments.
